A legend in any landscape showing respect to the future generation is always interesting to see. In the WNBA, Atlanta Dream star Tina Charles went head-to-head with Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese.
Reese has been in the national spotlight for years. She made a high-level name for herself in college with the LSU Tigers, and her fandom has since followed her to the WNBA.
The rookie out of LSU has had quite the start for the Sky this season. She’s averaging a near double-double with 11 points and close to 10 rebounds a game.
Chicago’s finest had another solid game against Atlanta, producing her fourth double-double of the season. She notched 13 points and 13 rebounds in the Sky’s 89-80 loss to the Dream.
Following the game, Charles had a conversation with Reese. Details on the conversation recently emerged.
I asked Tina Charles about her post-game conversation with Angel Reese.
“She just thanked me for leading the way…I [talked to her about] settling down in the post…She’s an elite player.”
Charles said Reese has been handling the media in stride with maturity.#WNBA https://t.co/habYjhBKwO

Charles is a former MVP in the league. She’s been through the ups and downs of the WNBA as a superstar, so any message that Reese can take in would be phenomenal for her growth.
