Tom Brady Accused Of Slighting The Buccaneers During Interview Today

Legendary quarterback Tom Brady appeared on FS1’s “The Herd” this Wednesday to discuss his NFL career as well as his future as a FOX broadcaster.

During Brady‘s time on FS1, he spoke highly about his time with the New England Patriots. “Saturday night we were always so prepared and so focused,” the seven-time Super Bowl champion said.

“We were the opposite of tight. We were always relaxed.” Interesting enough, Brady didn’t have much to say about his three-year stint with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Although this could’ve been an oversight from Brady, it’s worth noting that JoeBucsFan.com highlighted a few examples where he could’ve talked about Tampa Bay’s roster.

From JoeBucsFan.com: Somehow, Brady again managed to get through an entire interview without mentioning the Bucs or a current or former Buccaneer other than Rob Gronkowski. But this time was different.

Brady was asked a direct question about arriving in Tampa and transitioning to the Bucs’ veteran offensive line, and he still pulled off no mention of the Bucs or Tampa Bay in his reply.

Then Brady was asked a question about No. 1 receivers versus inside/No. 2 receivers and didn’t say the words “Evans” or “Godwin.” Maybe this was Brady’s way of throwing shade at the Buccaneers, but we doubt it. Brady will make his regular-season debut for FOX on Sept. 8 when the Dallas Cowboys face the Cleveland Browns.
