Like every year, Kate Middleton and Prince William released a new photo in honor of their eldest son’s special day—but this time, there was a hidden Taylor Swift-coded detail you may have missed.
On Monday morning, the Prince and Princess of Wales wished George a happy birthday with a never-before-seen black-and-white snapshot.
In the photo, the young prince flashed a huge smile while dressed in a dark suit with a white button-down, and just below his shirt’s cuff is what appeared to be a woven friendship bracelet. “Wishing Prince George a very happy 11th birthday today!” George’s parents captioned the post, crediting Middleton with the photography.
Back in June, George attended the Eras Tour at London’s Wembley Stadium along with his dad, Prince William, and younger sister, Princess Charlotte.
The trio took a selfie with Swift backstage, as well as a photo with the pop star and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. George isn’t the only royal rocking a friendship bracelet as of late.

Just last week, fans were convinced that Princess Charlotte and her grandfather King Charles had on matching versions during their recent outings. Charlotte, for her part, debuted several pink-and-blue bracelets on one wrist at Wimbledon.
Charles was seen sporting a similar red-and-yellow bracelet during the State Opening of Parliament, which became visible underneath his uniform as he waved to on-lookers from his carriage.
