Viewership towards the WNBA due to two standout players: Caitlin Clark from the Indiana Fever and Angel Reese from the Chicago Sky.
These two athletes have been making waves in the league due to the high level of attention they received during their college careers playing for the Iowa Hawkeyes and the LSU Tigers, respectively.
I’m glad she feel this way…
I feel sorry for Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese
Like I said before…
I blame it on the media
She didn’t ask for all the non sense
Imagine being in this situation
imagine how hard it is to express your real self in this type of situation…… pic.twitter.com/0GvBnqbXOP

Ever since both Clark and Reese were drafted into the WNBA in 2024, there has been a lot of buzz surrounding them. Media outlets, fans, and even veteran players in the league have been discussing them at length. Unfortunately, some people have used their names in reference to controversial topics, which has been very unfair to Clark and Reese.
In a recent interview, Clark said it is “disappointing” that her name is being used to push these controversial agendas.
On Thursday, NFL and Dallas Cowboys legend Dez Bryant voiced his concerns about this issue with Clark and Reese on social media, blaming the media in the process.
“I’m glad she feel this way. I feel sorry for Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese. Like I said before, I blame it on the media,” Bryant said, “She didn’t ask for all the nonsense. I’m pretty sure she wanna play the game she grew up loving without all the B.S. Some of the media strategies be so obvious.”
