Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese expressed her frustration and disappointment after they were apparently “harassed” when they arrived at their team hotel in Washington.
Reese shared the disturbing and frightening story on X, noting that some people waited for their team bus in the front of their hotel and then pulled a camera to their faces when they were just getting off their vehicle.

WNBA fans quickly came to support Reese and the Sky, with many even calling out the league and demanding for better security for players.
While it’s understandable for media personnel to want to get interviews, there’s a right way to do it. Sure enough, harassing players for an exclusive or ambushing them for interviews isn’t the way to go.
“We need security for our girls ASAP,” a fan demanded. Another one said, “It really has to that’s way too disrespectful.”
“I stg you need extra security. The whole team, but you and Chennedy [Carter] are at risk,” a concerned supporter added, referencing the recent hate that Carter is getting due to the Caitlin Clark incident. “That is BEYOND NASTY WORK!!! They need to be stopped,” another commenter shared.
“The Sky & the WNBA better do something about this. NOW!” a social media user exclaimed. It remains to be seen how the Sky and the WNBA will respond to this latest revelation from Reese.
Hopefully, though, they take action before things get out of hand. After all, considering the increasing popularity of the league, there will be more attention on the players moving forward.
