It wasn’t a good day at the office for Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky on Wednesday, after a tough battle against the Washington Mystics at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago.
The Sky ended up on the losing end of a hard-fought encounter, 74-70. This was the Sky’s fourth consecutive defeat. For her part, Reese logged seven points on 3-of-10 shooting, to go along with 14 rebounds, two assists and six turnovers in 35 minutes of action.
It was a commendable effort from the Sky rookie, but it was far from enough to help her team secure a much-needed win.

Reese wasn’t exactly in a jovial mood after the game, but she still made sure to go out of her way to meet a young fan who had been patiently waiting for her. In a video shared by the Sky on X, formerly Twitter, Reese is seen having an endearing encounter with a young girl, who just had her wish of meeting her idol come true.
Reese gave the fan, who as it happens, is also named Angel Reese, a hug, took photos with her, and was even nice enough to treat her to a Reese’s gift bag, which incidentally, is the 22-year-old’s latest product endorsement.
Whether you love her or not, what you can say about Angel Reese is that she makes sure to do whatever she can to connect with her fans at a personal level — regardless of how good or how bad her day might be going.
