Taylor Swift has placed a whopping £450 order from her favorite kebab shop ahead of her string of performances at Wembley Stadium this weekend.
Now the owner of Kentish Delight has dished up all the juicy details of Taylor’s favorite orders from his shop. Ahmed Khan has claimed that Taylor used to be a regular at his restaurant back when she lived in London with ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn who hails from Tuffnell Park close to the eatery.
Fans of Taylor have been eagerly heading to the shop to sample the delicacies on offer ever since they learned that Taylor used to regularly chow down on items from the menu.
Ahmed – who has run the shop for over ten years – says that fans have visited from around the world just to set foot in his restaurant thanks to Taylor previously being a “regular” customer who would visit “multiple times a month.”
Taylor has now reportedly placed a huge order as she heads to Wembley this weekend with her ErasTour. While Ahmed says the whole order hasn’t been finalised just yet he did reveal that it includes items such as chicken shish kebabs and falafel wraps.
He then gave fans a special treat by detailing what Taylor’s go-to order is – a chicken doner kebab with salad, garlic mayo, and a dash of chilli sauce. He said: “Taylor used to come in all the time when she lived in London, her boyfriend lived only ten minutes away, the two of them would come in together – multiple times a month sometimes.”
Ahmed added how he gets global visitors to the shop after it featured in Taylor’s 2017 music video to Endgame which also starred Ed Sheeran and Future. The promo shows Taylor partying in Miami, Tokyo, and London with Kentish Delight, which resides on Kentish Town Road getting it’s shining moment.
Ahmed said: “I have a Taylor fan in here everyday. They come from all over the world – Europe, North America, South America. France, Spain, Mexico, Chile. One fan came all the way from Brunei just to come to our kebab shop.”
Taylor will perform her first three of eight dates scheduled at London’s Wembley Stadium on her Eras Tour this weekend.
The shows will take place on Friday (June 21), Saturday (June 22), and Sunday (June 23). She will then return to London in August to play a further five dates between August 15 and August 20.
